Introduction of SME Export Marketing Fund
The volatile development of the COVID-19 pandemic has brought severe challenges to all industries, including the exhibition industry. To support enterprises in conducting “local market” promotion activities through both online and offline avenues, further enhancements to the SME Export Marketing Fund (EMF) have been effective since 30 April 2021. The funding scope of EMF has been expanded to cover large-scale exhibitions targeting the local market as well as online exhibitions, and the eligibility criteria has been relaxed to cover non-SMEs, for a period of two years. In this workshop, representative from the Trade and Industry Department will share the latest enhancement of EMF to support enterprises to navigate COVID-19.
